Proof Lab

What works. And what has no proof.

We break down the niche’s actives and trends, with sources. No promises — just the level of evidence, honestly.

Methodology

What “evidence level” actually means

This isn’t an in-house meta-analysis: it’s a ranking anchored to the EU health-claims register, which holds 63 authorised wordings in our frozen table. An active is never “promising in our view” — it either carries an authorised claim, or it carries none.

Strong evidence
The effect has been assessed by EFSA and the claim is authorised in the EU register, at a specific dose. We show the official wording, word for word, with its condition of use.
An authorised claim covers a physiological function — not a cosmetic promise, and not a guaranteed result for you.
Moderate evidence
The active is widely studied and its use is established, but it carries no authorised claim at the dose we serve — or the claim exists for another nutrient in the same product.
So we attach NO claim to it. The page stays factual: name, active, dose.
Emerging evidence
Data is preliminary or conflicting, or the item is served as a gesture (ritual, accessory) rather than for a measured effect.
We say so rather than hide it. An emerging-evidence item is never presented as one that works: if you like it, good; if it changes nothing, we promised you nothing.

The register is publicly available (EU Regulation 432/2012 and subsequent). Our table reproduces authorised wordings word for word: a text that isn’t in it is rejected by the compliance gate, and the product ships with no claim rather than a softened one.

Food supplements

  • cGMP-certified manufacturing (Good Manufacturing Practice)
  • Certificate of Analysis (CoA) per batch — lab test results
  • Select partner manufacturers NSF-certified (third-party control)

Cosmetics & skincare

  • Made in the European Union under ISO 22716 (cosmetics GMP)
  • Quality audited by Bureau Veritas
  • Cosmos Natural / Cosmos Organic certified options
  • Vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free formulas

Facility registration with the FDA attests to compliance with the applicable regulation; it is neither an approval nor an endorsement of the products by the FDA. Food supplements are not medicines and do not replace a varied, balanced diet.
